Upon entering St. Anna’s Residence, a sense of tradition and grace is apparent. Beautifully appointed rooms are reminiscent of times gone by and provide a welcoming and comforting atmosphere.


The non-denominational chapel is always open for prayer or reflection. Services from varying faiths are offered here, including a Catholic Mass on Saturdays and an Episcopal service monthly.

The library is lined with antique bookcases well-stocked with books for residents’ enjoyment. Several avid readers make their home at St. Anna’s. An Aladdin Rainbow Reader magnifying projector is also available to assist residents with their reading pursuits.

Residents are encouraged to linger before and after meals in the solarium to enjoy coffee, light reading materials, and each other’s company. The solarium offers a picturesque view of the adjacent courtyard garden. Our lighted saltwater aquarium is another popular attraction.

Touring visitors are ushered into the gracious front parlor of St. Anna’s, a lovely and formal area of original construction that appears to be untouched by the passage of time.

The dining room, where residents eat three meals a day, is graced with Southern charm. Known for its culinary expertise, the dining staff presents deliciously prepared healthful meals restaurant style, while accommodating special diets. St. Anna’s also has an additional infirmary dining room on the second floor for those residents who require total assistance with eating.

Under the direction of a full-time Activities Director and an Activities Assistant, residents participate in a full range of activities designed to challenge and entertain, as well as support their social well-being. Varied outings are scheduled regularly, allowing for different interests and affording residents opportunities to venture into the community.

The courtyard garden is the soothing site of relaxing outdoor picnics and container gardening projects.
