In a secure, comfortable environment at St. Anna’s, each resident is provided with a private room. Following a planned renovation, private bathrooms will soon be added to all rooms, excluding those on Nursing Station 1, our heaviest care area. Residents may bring their own furniture to St. Anna’s, or access our eclectic collection of antiques. Families are also welcome to utilize our house bedding and personal linens or provide their own selections.

A licensed intermediate care facility, St. Anna’s provides 24-hour, skilled nursing care supervised by qualified nurses under the direction of our Medical Director and Director of Nursing. We boast an excellent ratio of caregivers to residents, far exceeding nationally recognized standards. We pride ourselves on our warm, nurturing environment and staff.

Services include all meals, housekeeping and laundry. Residents are assisted as needed with their personal grooming, dressing, bathing, medications, feeding and other aspects of daily living.

St. Anna’s Residence strives to bring as many conveniences to our residents within the facility as possible. We boast a popular beauty shop on the premises with weekly appointments available. Our nail technician also visits residents twice a month. We arrange dental, vision, hearing screening and podiatry services on-site periodically throughout the year. A podiatrist visits St. Anna’s residents every three to six months, as needed. A dentist comes twice a year to provide limited dental care. An ophthalmologist performs vision screenings annually. Hearing screenings are arranged through the Louisiana State University Audiology Program bi-annually. Our dietary department routinely provides nutritional supplement beverages by request for an ancillary charge to residents whose care plans require them, alleviating the need for busy families to stock them on their own. Other personal consumable items such as adult diapers can be ordered and stocked for an additional fee by our nursing department.
